The iHeart Realty Foundation, A DLBA Community Partner since 2019.
Since joining the DLBA we have built 25 kitchens, 24 roofs, 60 bathrooms, 30 electrical services and more! We have created jobs for 30+ Detroit contractors. Provided rental assistance and free housing to Detroit residents in need. All while pushing forward through difficult challenges presented during March 2020-February 2022 (COVID 19).
DLBA Community Partner
The iHeart Realty Foundation became a Community Partner with the DLBA in 2018. The Foundation has succeeded with the Occupied Non Profit Program and Vacant Homes. iHeart has successfully developed 25 homes in Districts 1, 2 and 4.
Detroit At Work
We refer all apprentices to the Detroit At Work Program offered by the City of Detroit. One of our success stories is with Tyler Boone. He recently completed the HVAC training program through Detroit At Work. With his skill set he devotes his time to installing furnaces in our properties. He is currently studying Residential Electrical Wiring.
